    1. Hi Anne Marie, Let us know if you have other stem cell x COVID-19 related questions, happy to help where we can! 🙂

  3. The need might be immediate to save lives. You have had my daughters stem cells for 12 years and just NOW you are ‘investigating’ (did you say MSC) cells and their
Possible use?! Sounds like NIH researching what happens when monkeys drink alcohol?? Hurry up!!!!!

    1. Hi John, While research has been taking for several years using MSCs from cord tissue for a number of different conditions, Covid-19 is a new disease. Since the first reported case in November, the research community has launched a number of studies to learn about this virus and how best to treat it. We expect to see more clinical trials examining both cellular therapies and other drug-based interventions in the coming weeks and months. Connect with CBR here on our blog or our social channels to stay on top of the latest research. Thanks for being a part of the CBR family.

    1. Hi Natasha, We haven’t seen any clinical trials evaluating stem cells for dyslexia. The underlying causes of dyslexia are still poorly understood which makes it difficult to identify potential drug targets or cell-based interventions. If you have any other questions please feel free to reach out here on our blog or our social channels where we are always providing new research that we find. Stay safe out there!

  4. In your response to the first question, you say that stem cell treatment for COVID-19 would not be available for use in the next few months because the process takes a long time to demonstrate safety, efficacy, etc. Where are you in that process?

    1. Hi there, Bill. Thanks for reading! The FDA is fast-tracking new interventions through a Coronavirus Treatment Acceleration Program that is designed to bring new therapies to COVID-19 patients as quickly as possible while supporting research to determine whether those therapies are safe and effective. Our Medical Advisory Board and Dr. Shamonki are constantly keeping up to date on new developments and as they become available we will let all of our parents know.

  5. Hello Dr. Jamie,
